1949-1950
Played football and basketball at Central High DC, serving as Captain of the football team
1945-1949
Was an outstanding linesman on Central’s City Championship team
1950
First-Team All High Football Honors
First Team All Metropolitan Football Team – Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland.
1952-1956
Played with the semi-pro, Car Credit’s Football team for 6 years with 105 wins and only 6 losses mostly played in a league in Pennslyvania.
1976
Played in the singles and doubles U.S. National Handball Championships at Salt Lake City, Utah
Won several singles and doubles four wall handball championships at the JCC and YMCA, including the AAU city championship.
